Psychology of Eating
This is a cutting-edge development in the field of nutrition, as it involves a mind-body approach to eating. The focus of psychology of eating coaching is to develop a deep understanding of self, of your driving factors when making food choices, understanding your unique eating rhythms, and your body as a metabolic engine. The coaching process uncovers the emotional links to what your personal relationship is with food, and the reasons why we self-sabotage with food choices. Psychology of Eating is a journey of self‑discovery, leading to self‑compassion and healthy self-esteem as a platform for building a healthy relationship with food.
This is a mind-body approach to eating, with practitioners combining nutrition and psychology to create a potent synergy which is said to be the missing link when it comes to healing so many of our food, body and health concerns. This does not require you to be present in person as we conduct these therapy sessions via Skype or other video links and support you through your journey to find real answers and positive messages relating to your relationship with food and your body.
This approach can help with:
- Body image
- Binge eating
- Mood and much more
